We have manufactured and installed these wonderful machines, no logs are used, the name goes back to the 1800s when the first ones were built using trees for the shafts. On Diamond mines, these remove the clay and produce the perfect DMS feed. At Jwaneng, we retreat dump material, feed material is often 400 mm. The DMS feed has no clay and each stone looks like it is polished. It has been operating for over 7 years now. The latest is installed at a Diamond mine behind Venitia.
